Reflexology uses the approach that specific points on the feet correspond with organs and tissues throughout the body.
Reflexology considers the feet “microsystems” linked to every other part of the body. The application of gentle pressure to the acupoints assists in the treatment of a wide range of ailments.
Reflexology includes pressure, stretching, and movement to the feet to affect corresponding parts of the body. This could connect with an organ or a system, and manipulation of the correct zone may affect change in the reflected body area. Pressure on the kidney reflex, for example, may positively affect kidney function.
